Men’s Tribe Breakfast on Nov 11 2023

It was great to get together with my brothers from the Men’s Tribe this past Saturday! Mark your calendars for our next breakfast: Saturday, Dec 9 at 7:30am again!

As we were challenged yesterday from our guest speaker, this is a glimpse of what passing the faith down means: getting together once a month so we can “encourage each other for good deeds” and so we can see “iron sharpens iron.” Growing in our faith and growing into maturity does not happen in isolation!

Here’s a challenge I would like to post for the tribe this week and leading us into the final two weeks of this Thanksgiving Month: call a guy from the tribe and go get coffee, breakfast, or lunch! Talk and share and pray with each other while having some kava. Better yet, call someone that you know they will be surprised when you tell them that you are buying!

Remember the verse from Saturday? Let us not love in words and speech but in deeds and truth. As a famous fallen pastor used to say, “talk is cheap!”
