Due to July 3rd’s weather forecast, Kearney has rescheduled their fireworks show until Friday, July 5th. Since our event coincides with theirs, we will also reschedule our event until Friday. Hope to see you then!

Stay dry and have a wonderful Independence Day!

Join us as we celebrate Independence Day with the city of Kearney. Kearney puts on a spectacular firework show every year that you can view here on our property! Fireworks will begin at 9:30pm, but come early and enjoy FREE hot dogs, CHIPS, WATER, SHAVED ICE, CARNIVAL GAMES, ROCK WALL, AND INFLATABLES! We will also give away 5 fireworks packages for those who enter through our text line. We'll even give you glow bracelets for your kids!

For the safety of ALL guests, we ask that NO ONE shoots off any fireworks on our grounds. You can bring your own food and beverages (NON-ALCOHOLIC), chairs, grills, ETC.

COME AND CELEBRATE WITH US!

Come watch the game on the big screen in the gym! We will have the inflatable for the kids, and a game prediction game throughout the night.  We will also be bringing back the chili cook-off again this year!

The church will provide all the chili fixings, but we do ask that everyone coming brings finger food, snacks, or a dessert. 

There will be games and prizes throughout the whole night! For the Chili Cook-Off, the first-place winner/judge's choice will receive $150 cash! There will also be a people's choice award based on the number of tickets in each jar, and that prize will be present during the award ceremony!

To vote on chili: $1 per ticket

We will be having men's breakfast Saturday, February, 10 starting at 7:30am.  All men will meet at the church where we will share breakfast, a devotion, and some prayer time with each other!  We encourage you to come out and fellowship together with other men in the church.

NEW WEDNESDAY NIGHT STUDY - Starting February 7

The Men's Tribe will be hosting a BBQ night with great fellowship, pool/billiards, a fire pit, and a friendly BBQ competition! Bring your best BBQ dish, and a side to share. We will have a popular vote contest for... "MEN'S TRIBE BEST BBQ DISH"

We ask that you please bring $10 for the Men's Tribe General Fund!

Come join us on Sunday, October 8th, as we listen to Carla Marroquin, a missionary we support monthly, along with updates on the invaluable work of the Protect Me Project! Back in 2010, a pilot initiative took off at the University of Managua in Nicaragua, aiming to PREVENT sex trafficking. Presently, Protect Me Project teams are actively engaged in twelve nations, ensuring they intervene before the traffickers can.

Join us for our annual shooting event with the guys! This year we will meet at Rusty Lee's house near Watkin's Mill, on Saturday, October 7, at 9am. Bring targets, shoot clay pigeons, or sight in your rifles. Lunch will be provided around 11:30am. If you like, you can stay and fish in Rusty's stocked pond.
 

We ask that you please bring $10 to help cover the cost of lunch and supplies!

In preparation for the national “See You At The Pole” event, our Kearney youth groups will be gathering together to prepare to pray for our schools. The service will include worship and a sermon from guest speaker, Pastor Jeff Parks. Students will have an opportunity to connect with other Christian in town and encourage one another through the year. After the service concludes there will be games and food in the gym.

Join our Men’s Tribe for a fellowship lunch at Joy Wok in Liberty.

Join us for a Women's Pool Day on Saturday, July 29, from 11-4pm! We will relax and catch some sun around the pool while enjoying snacks and fellowship with other ladies in the church! We do ask that you please bring your own snacks and lunch for his day! 

Come enjoy a free Sisterhood Night with your RLC ladies here on Friday, July 14, with the doors opening at 6:30pm! James River Church will be hosting special guest Oneka McClellan, and we will simulcast it live here at the church. Please bring a snack to share, and we can't wait to see you there!
